33 Students joining the course late

How did you support students who joined the course late?

ES: Several students reached out to me because they hadn’t been enrolled in Avenue; I added
them to the course shell and emailed them a brief digest of our course thus far (e.g. where to find materials).

EG: Same! And for the first few weeks I included a very brief overview of course business in my “announcements” slide, with a reminder to reach out if they have just joined the course. I usually recommend a brief 1-on-1 meeting to help them get acquainted with the course.
