18 Student accommodations

How/when do you learn about student accommodations? What system did you put in place for keeping (secure, confidential) track of student accommodations, extensions, etc.?

ES: You will be emailed by SAS when a student registers for accommodations, upon which you will receive a link and be asked to sign in to review the student’s accommodation letter. Upon reading the student’s accommodations, I wrote them down in a notebook, and reached out to the student to ask if they needed anything to help ensure their success in the course, whatever that looks like.

EG: I used my password-protected spreadsheet. You can always log back into the SAS system to view those letters, but separate documentation allows you to take notes on what you and the student decide on together, and to make notes for students who choose not to go through SAS.
