What other policies or statements did/would you add for your classroom, in particular?

ES: I included an email correspondence policy. I think that, due to the online nature of the
course when I taught it in the Fall 2020 semester, it was important to note that I was happy to respond to longer questions and concerns over email. That being said, I explained that neither I nor the TAs/markers would respond to emails for 24 hours before an assignment was due, as well as 24 hours after an assignment was handed back.

EG: I added a “student support and resources” statement, with links to Student Services, peer support groups (e.g. for part-time, international, and BIPOC students), and other resources. I noted that I am “committed to supporting all students in this course to the best of my abilities, and am happy to connect you to specific campus resources for further assistance.” I didn’t have an email policy or a re-grade policy, but absolutely will going forward.
