50 Formatting the exam

How did you format your exam script? Anything you would change?

EG: I included a header with all course information, an “important note” about academic integrity, and very detailed instructions for formatting and submitting the exam script. I separated the exam into sections and included the total marks for each section.

This isn’t a change per se, but a bit of advice: plan out how exams will be marked as much as possible. This is especially true for take-home formats that don’t/can’t follow the traditional one-check-for-each-correct-point format of standard short answer questions. I made myself a rough marking scheme and, after about 5 exams, had to stop to refine it and start again.
