Evaluations
How will you be evaluated?
There are 120 possible points to be earned in this course. Throughout the course, you may choose whatever combination of points you wish to earn points toward your final grade up to a maximum of 100. Once you have earned 100 points in the course, no more points will be awarded. Thus, 100 is the maximum number of points any student will earn despite there being 120 possible. Here is how to map the points you’ve earned onto Carleton’s grading system:

B- | 70 – 72 | D- | 50 – 52 |
A minimum of 50 points is necessary to pass this course.
It is important to note that standing in a course determined by the course instructor subject to the approval of the Faculty Dean. This means that grades submitted by the instructor may be subject to revision. No grades are final until they have been approved by the Dean.
