Introduction

Our research focuses on the Indigenous Men’s Traditional Dance in Canada. We had the privilege of interviewing Jeremy Cote, a practitioner of this dance, to gain deeper insights into the Men’s Traditional Dance. Our group has delved into understanding its profound significance in the Indigenous community. In this project, our primary focus is to spotlight the significance of the Men’s Traditional Dance within Indigenous culture. This dance form serves as a potent expression of their cultural identity, spirituality, storytelling, ceremonial practices, and cultural preservation. Jeremy Cote has generously shared his expertise on the knowledge and purpose behind the Men’s Traditional Dance.
