Program Modalities and Requirements

Graphic Design is offered in two modalities – on campus in a traditional face-to-face delivery (6420), or fully online in an asynchronous format (6020).

This asynchronous program, 6020, is permanently online – the changing COVID situation will not affect this cohort. All course content is released in weekly modules, available each Sunday at midnight. Students are expected to review content in each class early in the week to be sure they can meet all deadlines – time management is very important.

Students in both programs are required to provide their own laptop (MacBook Pro is preferred), and a subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud software package. An external hard drive for backup is strongly recommended.

Please review minimum technology requirements listed in the Program Learning Resources and Facilities section.

Important Note

Please note that delivery plans for your program may change due to mandated Ontario Public Health measures. Continue to monitor the COVID-19 Student Information Centre for up-to-date information.

eCentennial

All courses at Centennial have an online learning environment on eCentennial, the College’s learning management system. Through eCentennial you can access course documentation and class assignments, monitor grades, and actively communicate and collaborate with professors and other students. Online courses and online components of hybrid courses will be delivered through eCentennial. You may need to write online tests and submit assignments via eCentennial. Your professor will discuss their use of eCentennial in each of your courses. View this video to learn how to navigate eCentennial and view the eCentennial Help- Video Tutorials.
