4 Setting Goals

S.M.A.R.T. goals are an essential tool for ensuring quality assurance in nursing practice. These goals also support nurses in achieving professional milestones. These goals are outlined by the CNO as specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-limited.

S.M.A.R.T. Goal #1

During the winter semester, I will attend all scheduled lab sessions and take the initiative in assuming a leadership role by assisting other students with hands-on skill development to better my leadership skills. I will do this by April 30th, 2025.

S.M.A.R.T. Goal #2

By April 30th, 2025 I will strengthen my collaboration and mentoring abilities by supporting other students in participating in at least six study group/skill practice sessions throughout the winter semester.
