Operating from your Values

So far, you have identified the values that underpin your work, the kind of faculty member you currently are and aspire to be, and created your own personal definitions for the values that are important to you. You will want to refer to your work in this section throughout the rest of this manual, as you continuously link your values to your ongoing reflective practice and learning.

Our values inform how we see ourselves. Our collective challenge is to act in ways that express these values every day so that they shine through to those around us. If we can succeed at this, we model a powerful ethic of integrity that has the power to be instilled in our students, our colleagues, even the leaders we look up to.
