Role of the Rapid Response Team (RRT)

The RRT aims to expedite the creation of high quality and engaging online learning content. Therefore, the RRT helps with:

  • Content creation
    • Working with faculty and staff to co-create digital learning content
    • This involves communication, professionalism, and critical thinking, as it is a “back-and-forth” collaborative process between RRT & faculty
  • Learning platforms
    • Hosting in-service training for various learning platforms (either one-on-one or in groups)
    • Supporting faculty and staff in self-directed professional development
    • Provide real-time technological assistance to faculty and staff
  • Technology testing
    • Testing out new platforms, activities, and features before using them with faculty or in the classroom

The RRT members complete their goal of creating engaging online learning content for faculty members by committing to being technology experts, with the faculty as subject matter experts. As some platforms and technologies are more intuitive than others, our goal is to provide the necessary training and skills for faculty to maintain a level of independence and confidence in digital learning technologies.
