HOQAS review report and student achievement data
The HOQAS review report data was joined to a dataset containing the mean grade for a given term, course, and section. In total, 127 course means (M = 2.81, SD = .54) were joined to the HOQAS review report data. Spearman’s rho was used to test the relationship between the 43 HOQAS standards and the course means. 6 statistically significant (p < .05) correlations were found, and the results were summarized in the table below:
HOQAS standard | rs |
---|---|
1.2 Students are introduced to the purpose and structure of the course. | -.283** |
1.5 Minimum technology requirements are clearly stated and instructions for use provided. | .183* |
4.1 The instructional materials contribute to the achievement of the stated CLRs and weekly/unit learning outcomes. | .178* |
