HOQAS review report and student achievement data

The HOQAS review report data was joined to a dataset containing the mean grade for a given term, course, and section. In total, 127 course means (M = 2.81, SD = .54) were joined to the HOQAS review report data. Spearman’s rho was used to test the relationship between the 43 HOQAS standards and the course means. 6 statistically significant (p < .05) correlations were found, and the results were summarized in the table below:

Grouping the HOQAS standards into their sections and comparing the 8 sections to course means yielded 2 statistically significant (p < .05) relationships, and the results were summarized in the table below.
