Conclusion 2. Outcomes and evidence of outcomes need to be clearly defined
Considering the process as described by stakeholders, it is clear that the outcomes of the review process, as well as the measures of those outcomes, were not clearly defined. Thus, this research looked at a variety of possible outcomes (i.e. student satisfaction, student achievement, faculty impact), some of which were used throughout the literature. When implementing a program with wide-impact, such as a course review program, outcomes need to be clearly defined so that the progress and impact of the program can be measured. Without doing this, it is difficult to continue to develop or improve upon the program or be able to help impacted stakeholders better understand the purpose of implementing such a program.
