This module offered me a deeper understanding of my responsibilities as an employee and the duties of supervisors and employers in fostering a safe work environment. It emphasized the importance of collaboration to uphold workplace safety and ensure the well-being of all workers. 
Employment Experience
For the past 1 year, I have been working as a Personal Support Worker at Extendicare, where I assist residents with daily living activities and provide emotional support to ensure their dignity and well-being. This role has given me valuable insight into patient-centered care and the importance of empathy, collaboration, and respect in long-term care. My experience at Extendicare has not only honed my caregiving skills but also inspired my passion for nursing by exposing me to the impact of compassionate care on residents’ quality of life

I understand the importance of integrity in fostering trust and credibility, and I am dedicated to upholding these values in my studies, clinical placements, and future practice as a registered nurse. By adhering to these principles, I aim to contribute to a culture of professionalism and ethical responsibility in healthcare.
Completed Education
Graduating high school with marks consistently above 90% was a proud moment for me and a reflection of my dedication and hard work. During those years, I developed strong study habits, time management skills, and a love for learning that I carry with me today. This foundation has given me the confidence to take on the challenges of nursing coursework and clinical placements. I’m excited to continue growing, knowing that my commitment to learning will help me provide the best care as a future nurse.
