Experiential Learning Requirements

The Community Services and Child Studies Foundations is a Non Co-op program. CCSF students will engage in experiential learning through the Peer Mentor Program

In semester one, CCSF students are paired with a peer mentor from the diploma program of their choice. Through out semester one and two, students will engage in formal conversation with their mentors by organizing mentor interviews. During this partnership, mentees are also guided in professional deportment, and in developing skills and  attitudes to become successful in their upcoming diploma program. Mentors will take students to two diploma classes during semester two of the CCSF program.
