Pre-Placement Services
Before attending Professional Practice placements, students must complete and submit all Non-Academic Requirements (NARs). These requirements are essential for ensuring safety and compliance in clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit all NARs by the posted deadlines (available on MyMohawk).
- Ensure all NAR items remain valid for the entire semester.
- Cover any associated fees for completing NARs (e.g., immunizations, certifications).
Students who are non-compliant with NARs will be denied or removed from Professional Practice.
Important Notes
- Allowing a requirement or certificate to expire during placement may be considered academic dishonesty and will be addressed accordingly.
- Mohawk College reserves the right to take disciplinary action at the discretion of the Associate Dean.
