Guidelines for Written Assignments

Students are expected to write in a manner that reflects the professional standards of the nursing field. All written work submitted during the program must be:

• Clear, well-organized, and professionally presented
• Free from spelling and grammatical errors
• Thoroughly proofread prior to submission

For guidance on planning, writing, and revising written coursework, students are encouraged to visit the Mohawk College Writing Centre

Referencing

All assignments must follow appropriate referencing standards. The APA citation style is used throughout the program.
