Student Feedback On Program, Teaching, & College
To help ensure the on-going quality improvement of the program so it can continue to produce top quality, highly trained professionals, a system of student feedback has been established regarding the quality of the courses and performance by faculty. The feedback received from the students is extremely valuable to the faculty and staff in future curriculum planning. Student evaluation of other services offered by Mohawk College can also be valuable in identifying problems that the Program Faculty and Associate Dean may not be aware of. This feedback is also very important in helping the program maintain its accreditation status.
All aspects of the program are evaluated, including didactic training by semester, clinical training by semester, overall program evaluation following graduation, and all other services offered by Mohawk College including library, bookstore, and counseling services. This feedback is collected by a variety of means, including:
- college wide on-line “Student Feedback on Teaching” for faculty
- provincial Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Surveys
- program specific course/clinical placement/guest speaker evaluations
- graduate employment survey (6 months post-grad)
