POLICE FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM

Program Structure

The provincial government requires Ontario colleges to create programs using the components related to the skills required for your field of study, general education to

increase your knowledge, and essential employability skills. To these building blocks, we have added our own Signature Learning Experience to learn about Global Citizenship and Equity. Following is a diagram that shows the different components of your program.

Your program has several key components that include:

  • Program vocational learning outcomes
  • Global Citizenship and Equity learning outcomes
  • Essential Employability Skills outcomes
  • General Education (GNED) or Liberal Studies course(s)
  • English communication (COMM) courses

Global Citizenship and Equity learning outcomes may not be included in Certificate and Graduate Certificate programs.

Essential Employability Skills Outcomes are not included in Degree prgrams

General Education/Liberal Studies courses may not be included in Graduate Certificate programs

English communication courses may not be included in Graduate Certificate programs
