Data Analysis

  1. Show your plot of the dispersion relation for the 400 mm tube. State the sound velocity with it’s uncertainty. Compare to the accepted value.
  2. From the eight 50-mm tubes and 16-mm iris’s data, state the frequency ranges of the band gaps, Brillouin zones and the frequency values of the k-points.
  3. Plot the dispersion relation in the reduced zone scheme (i.e. one Brillouin zone) for each of your cell-length measurements.
