Data Analysis
- Present tables of your frequency measurements for the longest cylinder. Calculate the average speed of sound and its uncertainty. Does it agree with the accepted value for the speed of sound in air?
- Use your data to determine the average frequency difference for each total cylinder length. Make a plot with your data such that you generate a straight line. Use the slope of that line to determine the speed of sound and its uncertainty. Compare to the accepted value and your average value from the previous step.
