WARNING

The magnets in this experiment are VERY strong. If you are not careful, they can pinch your fingers or skin. If you let them too close to ANYTHING magnetic, they take a considerable effort to detach. Strong magnetic fields are NOT GOOD for electronics like cellphones or laptops.

This experiment uses a lot of imperial units. The magnetic spheres and drill bits are in units of fractions of an inch, which is typically denoted with two apostrophes: ”.  i.e half an inch = 1/2″
