Program Modalities and Requirements
Performing Arts Fundamentals is a program where we explore the joys and challenges of live performance. “Live” doesn’t just mean face-to-face, though – it can also mean mediated performances that can happen over a variety of platforms.
All PAFS studio classes and Arts Electives will take place at The Performing Arts Centre (2200 Eglinton Ave East).

Fall 2023 Delivery Modality
All PAFS classes and Arts Electives have in-person delivery with the exception of PAFS-104: Contemporary Performance Analysis, which is a hybrid course of one in-person class every third week, and online and out of class (i.e. seeing performances) work in the other weeks (specific dates of in-person classes and out-of-class performances will be shared by your instructor).
COMM and GNED classes may be online or in person, depending on the section.
eCentennial
All courses at Centennial have an online learning environment on eCentennial, the College’s learning management system. Through eCentennial you can access course documentation and class assignments, monitor grades, and actively communicate and collaborate with professors and other students. Online courses and online components of hybrid courses will be delivered through eCentennial. You may need to write online tests and submit assignments via eCentennial. Your professor will discuss their use of eCentennial in each of your courses. View the eCentennial Help- Video Tutorials to learn how to navigate eCentennial.
