Session Introduction
There are many reasons and ways to get feedback. The frequent reflections and forums discussions are designed to act as a form of ongoing feedback. It is extremely useful to build feedback into the course design. In your course how will you do it? This session is designed to introduce you to the various ways of getting feedback (both technological and philosophical!)
There are many tools that may be used for feedback. In this session, we will be trying out Microsoft Forms. Here is an anonymous formative feedback survey. Please fill it out honestly. While you fill it out, take a look at the different types of questions and response options. How could you build a formative tool into your module or online course?

By the end of this session you should be able to:
- describe considerations for feedback;
- identify formative and summative feedback strategies in the online environment; and
- create a tool to evaluate an assessment using appropriate criteria.
