Creating a screencast
Option 1: PowerPoint
- Microsoft PowerPoint has built in audio and timing recording functionality which allows instructors to narrate their own power points. Instructors can use the same slides they already use, record audio, and then distribute their slides with audio narration included to student via the LMS or email. Option 2: Use MS Teams online
- If you have space or permission issues installing office, you can use Microsoft Teams online (same platform we will be using for online office hours) to record a presentation.
Option 3: Use your mobile phone
- Draw your grid on paper and set up your camera to record
Option 4: Universal Capture: Personal for Video
- You can use Universal Capture to record your screen to capture any content you would like to share. The following are some suggested steps to creating video with Universal Capture:
