Instructional Designer & Students
When working on a project, the Students will work closely with ID to build and refine the content. Each project has a specific ID and a Student assigned to it, although you may be asked to assist on other projects as required.
Overall Project Information
Prior to the project being started, the ID and the Project Lead will create the book and set up meetings the the SME (Subject Matter Expert – faculty member).
Meetings & Communication
The First Meeting – The Project Lead, ID, and student will meet with the SME to start the direction of the project.
Weekly/Bi-Weekly Meetings – SMEs have the option of meeting with Studio Team Members weekly or bi-weekly. During these meetings, previously developed content will be shown so the SME can see the changes in Pressbooks. Small edits and changes can be made during the meeting, while the AI companion can be used to summarize larger tasks to be added to Asana.
