Fanshawe Intellectual Property

Some of our work will incorporate aspects of Fanshawe’s intellectual property that we would typically not want to share openly. This can include logos and other marketing materials such as program descriptions. There are two situations:

  1. These properties are used inconsistently in the text, in which case, a note on the page where the content is found is most appropriate.
  2. These properties are used consistently in the text, and due to design reasons, a single note in the front-matter is appropriate.

Inconsistent Use

On pages where we have included this information, we will make note of it at the end of the page. For example, a page with a Fanshawe logo could have:

Fanshawe Logo, © Fanshawe College, All Rights Reserved.

You may also include a link to where the materials are found to help a user identify what can be re-used. For example, from the “Overview of the ECE Program Field Placements” section in Fanshawe College Early Childhood Education Field Practicum HUB:

Course Descriptions in Early Childhood Education Courses, © Fanshawe College, All Rights Reserved.

**Consistent Use — Pending Director Approval**

In the front-matter, include a list of the properties in the following format:
