Instructional Designer & Students

The Instructional Design student will:

• Build the content from the SME in Pressbooks, ensuring adherence to copyright rules and accessibility requirements.
• Contact the ID with design questions. See Design Checklist 
• Record progress in Asana (PM tool).
• Assign tasks to the graphic designer and copyright officer.
• Notify the ID when each chapter is complete and ready for review.
• Once the ID approves, send a message to the SME that the content is complete in Pressbooks and ready for review.

The instructional Designer will:

• Set up the new book in Pressbooks and provide access to those who need it.
• Complete the new book Set-up instructions.
• Review each chapter after completion by the ID student. Make any changes and work with students to review changes.
• Provide quality assurance and accessibility checks.
• Answer any questions from ID students about the design process.
