Variable Risks

Three factors need to be considered when identifying risks: the participants, the equipment and the environment. For example, if we consider the risks associated with a hiking excursion you may immediately think of slips, trips and falls (areas to be identified), and size and abilities of the group. Then there is the daily weather and the terrain.
