PROMOTION POLICY
At the beginning of each course, students will be informed of the specific requirements of that course and the way in which the learning will be evaluated.
- Final grades reflect the students’ performance on a variety of term and final testing components.
- Final promotion from a program qualifies the student for a Centennial College Diploma/Certificate. To achieve final promotion a ‘C’ or ‘S’ grade is required for final field placement course.
* Please refer to the Program Model Route or Program Specific Policies for precise guidelines on promotion within a particular program.
Regular ongoing evaluation of academic and practical performance will keep the student informed of his/her progress. Based upon faculty review of such progress, recommendations for remedial procedures or withdrawal from the program will be made.
See the Experiential Learning Requirements section for information on work terms, field placements, clinical placements, or other required experiential learning components.
