OER@NC CoP Goals

The overarching goals of the OER@NC Community of Practice are:

  1. Establish a network of OER practitioners at Niagara College: create a supportive environment for individuals to meet and share ideas, as well as resources and best practices, relating to open education.
  2. Develop best practices for the practical application of OER in Niagara College programs: capture and share existing knowledge relating to open education best practices by providing a forum to identify solutions to common problems and showcase successful implementations.
  3. Enhance Niagara College’s trailblazing reputation through innovative OER projects: support the development of interdisciplinary OER projects and partnerships across Niagara College.
