How Does Conflict Occur?

Conflict occurs because of poor communication, role ambiguity, lack of transparency, and unfair treatment.

HR Skills Needed

Active listening, asking questions and taking notes. Good communication skills and knowing when to use different communication methods is also important.  Empathy and mediation are skills that are necessary for HR professionals.

The Goal of Conflict Resolution

The goal is to mitigate misunderstandings, role ambiguity, and perceived unfairness in the workplace.
