4 What Supports Are There for Students with Accommodations?
Multiple clubs and services offer support systems for students on campus who access accommodations/associate with disability.

- Student Accessibility Services (SAS): Access to individualized academic accommodations, alternate text formats, etc.
- Student Wellness Centre (SWC): Short-term counselling, drop-in groups, psycho-ed and psychotherapy groups, comprehensive medical care, smoking cessation, gender affirming care, etc.
- Campus Accessible Tech Space (CATS): A quiet, wheelchair-accessible study space with automated height-adjustable tables, technology loans (concussion monitor/tablet, scanners, etc.), games, puzzles, knitting, etc.
- MSU Maccess: One-on-one peer support, drop-in study and social space, advocacy, educational and social events, lending library, connection to other resources, community groups, etc. All students who identify with disability are welcome, no diagnosis required.
- Student Health Education Centre (SHEC): Online and in-person peer support, “peer-run health advocacy, information and resources connection” and “free health supplies … referrals, educational materials.”
- Student Assistance Plan: 24/7 multilingual counselling (phone, text, and online chat). Support with nutrition, academic success, life skills, and legal affairs.
- Student Case Management: Case management services (referrals; coordinating leave of absence; support with housing, academic, health, and financial needs; crisis prevention and intervention).
