Final Thoughts

As I write this I have just started my first week of my last semester at Trent. While the book may have been grandly named “Mollie’s Learning Journey”, this is really only just one installment in a lifetime endeavor. My classes have all been instrumental in shaping my world view through interactions with instructors, classmates, and the content. University, Trent, and these past four years, has shaped who I am, how I think, and how I navigate the world.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to go to university. It is not an opportunity that everyone has, and although I have put in a lot of work to get, and stay here, a significant amount of privilege has also contributed to this. On that note, I would like to acknowledge my parents, who have always supported me, through reading countless essays, buying me groceries, helping with tuition, and always encouraging me to dream big. My friends, who are my greatest support system, great study buddies, and have the best book recommendations. Finally, Jamie and Rachel, I hope I have made you both proud.
