15 Termination of Placement

Termination of Placement

Should a student’s placement be terminated due to concerns regarding behaviour, professionalism, quality of care, attendance, punctuality, or a breach of policy or procedures (including confidentiality), the student will be promptly notified by the program coordinator and/or clinical manager. Termination of the placement will result in an automatic failure of the Professional Practice 2 course, preventing the student from continuing in that semester. The student will be required to reapply for the following semester to complete the outstanding courses.
