Field Placement Calendars

Students are provided with a sample calendar that outlines the requirements and due dates for placement.  Students may use this sample calendar as a guide to stay on track for placement.  Students can also move items within the calendar to meet program needs of their placement site and to follow their Commitment of Practice on when to submit paperwork to their mentor.

Students are to complete the mandatory requirements by midterm and by final.  Details of this information can be found in the Learning Outcomes Feedback Form (LOFF) and a summary on the Field Placement Checklist.

Calendars are provided based on when the student is taking their break week which depends on the type of program they are attending.  For example, students in a kindergarten program will attend placement during the college reading week and have their break during the school’s March Break.  These students would then follow the March Break calendar.
