Identifying Microaggressions

We have now had the chance to think deeply about what microaggressions are, how we can spot them in the workplace, and the many subtypes that they may have. But thinking about microaggressions is more than being able to define them, we also have to think about what these terms mean in our life.

 

Let’s watch the following video. As you watch this video, take the time to think about the following questions:

  1. Is a microaggression occurring in this scene?
  2. What type of microaggression is occurring?
  3. What impact might this have on the workplace environment and the victim?
