Summary

You have now completed the lesson on the impact of microaggressions in the workplace and how you can address them! In this lesson, we have explored many of the overarching concepts relating to the impact and combatting of microaggressions. We have discussed how microaggressions may impact individual employees, the effect they can have on workplaces as a whole, and steps that we can take to begin to address these microaggressions at an individual and organizational level.

 

It is important to remember that the experience of microaggressions in a workplace is unique to all individuals and places of work. However, by thinking critically about the impact that these microaggressions can have and how we can begin to take steps to address them, we can take steps to make a workplace that is safe and inclusive for all employees.
