Summary

You have now completed the introductory lesson on microaggressions! In this lesson, we have explored many of the overarching concepts relating to microaggressions. We have discussed what a microaggression is, how we can identify them, and what some microaggression subtypes include.

 

It is important to remember that microaggressions can occur in any workplace. However, by building our knowledge base and understanding of what microaggressions are, we can begin to learn how we can combat them in order to make our workplaces safer and more inclusive places for all employees.

  1. I can define microaggressions and I understand the role that they play in workplace interactions.
  2. I can recognize and categorize workplace microaggressions, particularly those targeting Indigenous communities.
