Transportation In & Around Hamilton
Free Local Bus Service
All inbound exchange students at the undergraduate and graduate level (except MBA) have FREE access to the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR), to allow for easy movement within the City of Hamilton.
Free Shuttle Bus Between Campus
McMaster offers a weekday shuttle service, which operate every 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the bus stop, time of day, passenger demand, and overall campus activity.
Traveling Outside of Hamilton
McMaster is home to a GO Bus terminal, which provides easy travel and connections to Toronto, Niagara, and beyond. Students are eligible for a discounted travel rate on GO buses and trains.
You can also connect to other routes from the Hamilton Go Station or West Harbour Go Station, located in Downtown Hamilton.
Hamilton Bike Share
All inbound exchange students at the undergraduate level are eligible for a discounted pass to Hamilton Bike Share. The bike share pass grants all applicable students 90 minutes of non-continuous daily access to any Hamilton Bike Share bikes across the city.
