Layla Vulgan (she/her) is a third year McMaster University student pursuing a degree in Honour’s Chemical Biology Co-Op. She is currently working with Dr. Chen and Dr. Saravanamuttu to improve and evaluate the impact of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology’s second year mentorship program. Layla enjoys teaching peers about chemistry and related subjects, and she especially likes finding ways to explain concepts in more accessible ways. When she has spare time, she enjoys tutoring others, playing badminton, and goofing around with her dog.
