How to create a matrix:

1. To create a matrix, first type the letter you wish to assign the matrix to into the command window. (ex: if
you wish to assign the matrix to y, type y= into the command window)

2. Next, in the same row open a square and type the numbers you wish to use (ex: if you want to use the
numbers 1,2,3 type 1,2,3 into the command window)

3. Next use your keyboard to insert a semicolon, followed by the remaining numbers you wish to input and
close the brackets. (note: you must ensure that the amount of numbers before and after the semicolon is the
same)

4. Press enter on your keyboard and the matrix should appear in the command window and the workspace
section.
