Milestones and Due Dates

November Consult with Director to identify potential supervisors. Usually this happens in the 701 course.

 

December and January Director confirms each student’s Supervisor.

 

January-February Begin working with your Supervisor to develop your Proposal.

 

March 16 Submit Proposal to program for feedback and approval. If the proposal involves working with human participants, also submit a draft of the REB Protocol.

 

later in March If applicable, submit the protocol approved by GSJ to MREB or HiREB.

 

mid-May Present your work in progress to students and faculty at the Workshop.

 

July 15 Submit First Draft to to the program office The program office will send this draft to your Supervisor for feedback. The Director will confirm your Second Reader.

 

July 25 Receive Supervisor’s feedback on first draft. Revise draft based on feedback.

 

August 10 Submit revised Second Draft to the program office. The program office will send this draft to the Second Reader for assessment.

 

August 20 Receive assessment from Supervisor and Second Reader. Make any necessary final corrections.

 

August 31 Submit final, corrected MRP to the program office. This is the version that the program office will keep on file. You might also choose to upload it to the MacSphere repository if you wish.

 

September 11 Submit graduation paperwork to program office.
