MA Major Research Paper (MRP)
In addition to coursework, the other requirement for the MA degree is the Major Research Paper (MRP). The MRP is an opportunity for you to complete an original, independent, scholarly project whose scope is not as broad or deep as a thesis.
Each student will work closely with a Supervisor, first to develop a proposal to be approved by the GSJ MA Committee and then to see the project through to completion. You’ll begin working on your proposal in the Fall semester and have your proposal approved in the Winter. Most of the work of the project will take place between April and August.
