Completing the Diploma

When you defend your PhD dissertation in your home department, the GSJ program is not notified automatically! To make sure that the GSJ Diploma is conferred, and shows up on your transcript and your degree parchment, make sure to notify the GSJ program that you’ve completed your home program by emailing gsj@mcmaster.ca. This will prompt the Administrative Assistant in GSJ to submit the documents attesting that you’ve completed the Diploma, so that the Diploma is conferred and shows up on your transcript and your degree parchment.
