Chapter 4: Musculoskeletal Anatomy

In every movement you have ever taken, whether it is walking to class, eat food, or simply opening your mouth to exhale you have done so because of your musculoskeletal system. Without the rigid structure provided by bones, human beings would sit like a pile of jello.

Muscles help to act on bones so that humans can move, without muscles you would just be a rigid structure and most likely fall over!
