Starting Points: A Guide for Learning Strategists is written by John Hannah, Director of the Centre for Learning Strategy Support, a department of Student Life at the University of Toronto.

Direct quotes in Part 3 Considerations of Practice were contributed by current and former Centre for Learning Strategy Support staff members Rahul Bhat, Cristina Peter, Eugenia Tsao, Ayeshika Wickremasinghe, Carol Ducharme, Heather Nelson, and Alex Bowie. Eugenia Tsao contributed some additional text for Part 4, Chapter 3, The Practice of Assessment.
