Using H5P for Assessment Purposes
Interactive presentations created in H5P (https://h5pstudio.ecampusontario.ca) can be used for assessment purposes by taking advantage of the “Export Text” function. At the end of H5P interactive presentations, a screen appears giving the participant three options:
When the “Export text” option is selected, any answers given by the participant/student interacting with the presentation is exported to a Word document. This document can then be renamed by the participant/student according to a structure determined by the course instructor (for example: Lastname-Firstname-Coursecode-MM-DD-YY), and then submitted through an assignment section in the course portal.
The interactive presentation highlighted in the previous chapter includes a slide with instructions for the student to export answers and submit as proof of completion:
