One of the models you will learn about in the program is the Value Chain Model. This model shows the primary and support activities every company engages in to be successful. During the program, you will gain insights into each one of the activities with or in the Value Chain, as illustrated below.

The value chain model illustration displays both support and primary activities. These activities are displayed in the shape of an arrow pointing towards the words “value-margin.” The support activities are indicated as firm infrastructure, human resource management, technology development, and procurement. The primary activities are indicated as inbound logistics, research and development, production, marketing and sales, and customer service. Most of the support and primary activities are marked with an arrow icon except technology development (support activity) and research and development (primary activity).
