This one-year post-grad program is designed for university and college graduates looking for a career in financial services. You’ll learn about personal financial management, tax and retirement planning, insurance, investment and estate planning. You’ll also study the importance of people skills – critical for working with clients, evaluating their needs and offering financial advice.

Unique Program Experiences
Chart your path to a career in financial services! This one-year post-grad program is designed to equip you with key skills needed to provide Canadians with advice in six fundamental areas of personal finance: financial management, investment planning, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning and risk management. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to complete key industry licensing exams and work towards professional financial planning designations which will make potential employers take notice.
When you take the Professional Financial Services program, you will learn how to address important financial issues that individuals and families face and help them make smart decisions surrounding their wealth. Taking a hands-on approach, you will not only understand important theories but will gain experience in solving real financial problems through assignments, client role-plays and case competitions. Here’s the best part: you will be introduced to working professionals to prepare you for making the leap from school to industry.

Financial Planning Case Competition
A signature learning experience for students. Working in teams, students craft comprehensive financial plans based on the advanced concepts gained in their studies. Student teams hone their presentation skills and pitch their recommendations to a panel of industry judges.
