Mandatory Training
All College faculty, staff, and administrators are required to complete the following mandatory training modules:
- WHMIS Basic (WHMIS = Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
- Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act
- AODA – General Requirements
- Respect in the Workplace
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Copyright Literacy in Ontario Colleges
- AODA – The Code and the AODA (AODA = Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act)
- AODA – Customer Service Standards
- AODA – Information and Communication Standard
- AODA – Accessibility Training for Educators
Please consult your ‘Due Soon’ queue in FanshaweLearns. If that queue list differs from the list above, the FanshaweLearns list supersedes it.
Please complete the rest of the training courses within 30 days of your account creation. All the courses can be found on FanshaweLearns, accessed on the myFanshawe portal page.
Training Module Access
Login to FanshaweLearns and view the Due Soon queue in the left-hand menu.
- Watch for cut-off dates
- Courses are typically due one week after your first day of teaching
- Training modules may not appear on FanshaweLearns until the start of the term
- Note, once completed, the renewable training modules will reappear in your queue with the next due date e.g. WHMIS 2025
